A year after demonetisation

On the same day of November 8th 2016, our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced at 8pm that the old 1000 and 500 rupees notes won’t be accepted here after. The sudden announcement shook the whole nation. The general public where wandering not knowing what to do next. They were wondering and worried about what will happen to the cash they have. For God’s sake they were given some options and time to change the cash they had. Because of which most of the banks and ATM’S where always full.

Many bank employee worked extra time and they were paid extra to handle the hectic situation. It was for period of 3 to 4 months many people where in confused state. After which they realised the situation and found alternatives.

This was the big step taken by our Prime Minister to remove the black money fully from our country. Above all contradictory statements we should accept that many money which were hidden in different places as black money had come out.

Today as a one year completion statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter has twitted “I bow

to the people of India for steadfastly supporting the several measures taken by the Government to eradicate corruption and black money. #AntiBlackMoneyDay
