Visiting Chennai Raj Bhavan by the public has been announced. Public can enter the Governor place from Friday 9th February 2018 during 4.30 PM to 6.30 PM. One has to assemble at the entrance of Raj Bhavan at 4Pm, after security checkups they will be allowed to enter the place.
The public will be guided into the place and they can view the official residence of the Governor of Tamilnadu, for an hour.
But if you want to visit the place you should have done online registration. The public can do online registration through the official portal http://www.tnrajbhavan.gov.in and navigate to the booking page http://www.tnrajbhavan.gov.in/rbvisit/rb-visit_booking_status.aspx
The visitors will be able see Durbar Hall, where the swearing-in ceremonies of the politicians take place, the Presidential Guest House, which houses the VIP guests, the lawns of Raj Bhavan, where deer and the black bucks play along and also the main building, which houses the office of the Governor.
The visitor can can also tour the forest and the polo ground located inside the Raj Bhavan.
